Here is the 2nd ivy sculpture in my year-long conversation with English Ivy. In this sculpture, I explored different weaving techniques and got to explore the versatility of this vine as an art material.
The Ivy I used in this piece was pulled with the support of Langley Environmental Partners in September 2022 in Aldergrove, BC.
I call it a Sculptural Scribble. It was a fun way to play around with Ivy cordage from different sites and seasons.
